Over the last year since we had product-market fit, our team has 7×'d. And as the team is going to grow, I can't personally be everywhere which was when I started looking to get an executive coach.
I was skeptical initially going into it. When I looked at the profiles of these coaches, I was just like, wow. These were people who had built businesses before, who had done it for 20, 30, 40 years and these were businesses that I personally really respected.
Me and my coach usually have a call every two weeks. He's on text with me throughout. I present a problem that I'm facing, and in a minute or two he's able to figure out the root issue, then brings both his understanding of me and experiences he's had before to come up with a solution.
He helped me switch that mindset from, hey, instead of coming in as a hero, how about you come in like a coach?
Over the last year our revenue has 150×'d. We went from basically zero B2B enterprises to now almost 4,000 companies like Klarna, Yahoo, Notion. I genuinely do not think we could have built Wispr to where we are today without having somebody like him.
Tanay Kothari, Co-Founder and CEO of Wispr Flow, in conversation with Titan. Lightly edited for clarity.
Hi, I'm Tanay, the CEO and co-founder of Wispr Flow. And at Wispr, we're building voice dictation that just gets you.
I remember at one point in January, Sahaj and I were debating if we had hit product market fit or not. There were some people who had Windows laptops. And these people bought a MacBook just to use Wispr Flow. And that to me is, wow, if this is not product market fit, I don't know what is.
Over the last one year since we had product market fit, our team has 7x'd. And as the team is going to grow, I can't personally be everywhere. Which was when I started looking to get an executive coach. I got introduced to Titan through my co-founder, Sahaj. I was, again, skeptical initially going into it. When I looked at the profiles of these coaches, I was just, wow. This was a completely different caliber of coaches that we were looking at at this time. And these were people who had built businesses before, who had done it for 20, 30, 40 years. And these were businesses that I personally really respected.
I usually have a call every two weeks. He's on text with me throughout. And I come up with him, I present a problem that I'm facing. In a minute or two, he's able to figure out the root issue that I'm seeing. And then brings both his understanding of me and experiences that he's had before to come up with a solution and is able to deliver that to me in a way that I respond to. And then next week, we move on to the next topic. And so he helped me switch that mindset from, hey, instead of coming in as a hero, how about you come in like a coach?
Honestly, going with Titan to me is a no-brainer. Over the last one year, our revenue has 150x'd. We went from zero B2B enterprises to now almost 4,000 companies like Klarna, Yahoo, Notion. And so the scale at which we're operating in just a year is astounding. And I genuinely do not think we could have built Wispr to where we are today without having somebody like him.
