GameTape integrates with Zoom to provide seamless meeting recording and insights. Here’s how to set it up and what to expect:
Initial Setup
To enable GameTape Notetakers for Zoom:
Navigate to Integrations in your Titan GameTape account
Locate the Zoom Integration and click 'Connect'
Authorize and Connect Your Zoom Account
• A new window will open, prompting you to sign into Zoom
• Enter your Zoom credentials and sign in
• Review permissions requested by GameTape
• Click “Authorize” to grant the necessary permission
Configure Zoom Settings for Recording
• Log in to your Zoom account and navigate to Settings
• Go to the “Recording” tab and enable “Local Recording”
• Check “Hosts can give meeting participants permission to record locally”
• This allows GameTape to record your Zoom meetings effectively
Once these steps are completed, your Zoom account will be successfully integrated with GameTape, enabling seamless recording and analysis of your Zoom meetings.

Meeting Attendance
The GameTape meeting recorder will automatically join Zoom sessions based on your auto-join settings:
Scheduled Meetings: The recorder will join meetings scheduled on your calendar.
Recorder Name: It will appear in the meeting with the name you’ve assigned in the auto-join settings.
Video Participant: Unlike Google Meet, the recorder will join as a video participant with a simple, unbranded Notetaker image.
Host Permissions: The meeting host will need to accept the recorder into the meeting when it joins and grant permission to record for the Notetaker to begin capturing the session.
Removing Your Notetaker
If for any reason you don’t want the recorder to attend a specific meeting or need to stop it during a session:
Open the Participants List in Zoom.
Locate the recorder (identified by the name you’ve given it).
Click to Remove the recorder from the meeting.
Note: Removing the recorder will stop the recording immediately, and any data captured up to that point will still be available in GameTape.
Removing Your Zoom Integration
If you no longer wish to use GameTape with Zoom, you can easily deauthorize the app. Follow these steps to remove GameTape:
Login to your Zoom Account and navigate to the Zoom App Marketplace.
Locate the Zoom Integration in the list of connected services by clicking on Manage > Installed Apps in the menu. Alternatively, search for the GameTape app using the search bar.
Click on 'Titan' in the list of installed apps and revoke its access to your Zoom account.
Note: Once the Zoom integration is deactivated, GameTape will no longer have access to your Zoom account and you will no longer be able to record any new Zoom meetings using GameTape.
This simple process ensures you retain control over your integrations while maintaining the security of your Zoom account.
