Common questions
What is a founder coach, and why does it matter who they are?
Someone who has built a company or spent years coaching the founders who did, and whose only job is your performance as a founder. For many founders the right match is a coach who has sat in the same seat: one Titan coach is a female founder-CEO who scaled from zero to $130M ARR.
How does Titan select coaches?
Out of more than 1,600 coaches interviewed, fewer than 3% made it into the network of 48. Every one of them has either built an extraordinary company or helped half a dozen founders do it, with a track record backed by the founders they coached.
What do female founders work on with a coach?
The same things every founder brings: co-founder conflict, the first executive hires, board pressure, burnout, letting go of the work. Titan has coached the founder-CEOs of Living Carbon, Raspberry AI, Bayesian Health, Amplify and Teal Health on exactly these.
Can I ask for a woman coach, or one who has coached women founders?
Both, and you say so on the discovery call. Several Titan coaches are women, including the founder-CEO who scaled to $130M ARR, and many of the coaches in the network have coached women founder-CEOs. Some founders want the shared experience, others want the coach who has seen their exact problem most often. Gender is a matching criterion you set, not one we assume.
Have the coaches worked with founders who have young kids?
Yes, and it is a fair thing to ask. Several Titan coaches raised families while running or coaching companies, and many of the founders they coach are parents of young children, with a partner's career, a fundraise and a company all running at once. If that is part of what you are carrying, say it on the discovery call and it becomes a matching criterion like any other.
